Constance Lombardo

Constance’s journey as an author and illustrator began with her childhood love of drawing, sparked by her dad’s Illustrators Annuals and her sister’s artistic pursuits. Later, reading favorite picture books to her son inspired her to combine her passion for words and pictures into creating her own delightful stories.

She is the author and illustrator of the hilarious middle-grade series featuring Mr. Puffball, Stunt Cat to the Stars, as well as the creator of beloved picture books like Everybody Says Meow. Her recent works include Tiny Spoon vs. Little Fork (illustrated by Dan & Jason) and Itty Bitty Betty Blob (illustrated by Micah Player), charming readers with their whimsical characters and playful storytelling.

Residing in Asheville, Constance shares her home with her old beagle, often serenading him with songs while dreaming up her next imaginative creation.
